Miki and Orly's story

Miki and Orly are two tiny, beautiful, and sweet babies who have miraculously survived after discovering them in a desolate area in the Jaljulia.

We assume that they were probably a part of a herd that passed through the area, where they separated from their mothers under unknown circumstances. They may also have experienced rejection from their mothers due to wounds in their mouths and difficulty in breastfeeding.

Orly was about a week old, and Miki was about two weeks old. The umbilical cord was still attached to their thin and weak bodies. They were shivering, crying, unprotected, and exposed to many dangers.

A hiker who happened to be passing by heard the sounds of crying. He picked them up and came with them in the middle of the night to the farm.

In their first week at the farm, we feared that they would not survive. They were unable to drink milk, which can cause nutritional deficiency. We were very concerned for their lives.

They were in isolation for two weeks. Our dedicated staff and volunteers took care of them 24/7. They fed them, treated their wounds, and provided them with warmth, protection, and security.

Now they are recovered, and both baby girls eat properly, getting stronger and healthier by the minute.

Just like most babies, they are both playful and captivating! Slowly they are finding their place among the beloved residents who welcome them with curiosity and interest.

Now, Miki is a big girl and has more confidence, and Little Orly is trailing after her best friend, who provides her with protection.

They are both so cherished and fill our hearts with great joy and love.
